A vacant lot in Longfellow could see new townhouses constructed if a rezoning request is approved.

A recent application to CompassKC reveals a rezoning request from B4.5 and R-2.5 to Downtown Residential for the parcel located at 2901 Holmes. Plans uploaded to the application reveal 5, 2-story townhomes with a 2-car garage for each home accessed from the rear. The home designs are modern with a material legend they’ll be clad in a mixture of fiber cement panels and lab siding.

The City Planning Commission will hear the rezoning application at their August 20th meeting. An actual development plan application has yet to be filed.
