The long planned 4711 Belleview apartment project by Lane4 Property Group in the West Plaza neighborhood has some new renderings.
Thanks to the Ghadimi Group, a partner developer of the project, the renderings detail the building’s planned amenity decks and sidewalk interaction on 48th Street. Glazed green tiles accent the building’s light and gray colored brick facade. Sculpted pillars and swooping staircase rise from the ground along 48th Street. Lush landscaping is planned to beautify the amenity decks. Light green window frames and metal structures offer additional color accents to the modern building.
4711 Belleview is planned to be a 13-story building with 317 market-rate apartments, 418 parking spaces, and a retail space at 48th and Belleview. El Dorado architects is serving as the architect for this project. The project replaces an aging parking lot, vacant office building, and the site where JJ’s restaurant used to stand prior to its explosion in 2013.
The last public update on the project came in August 2023 when PortKC approved an incentive package with a period of 20 years. 10 of those years would be a tax abatement at 85%, then stepping down to 80% for 5 years, and 75% for the remaining 5 years. The project had a price tag of $140 Million in 2023. Since that time, no movement has been made on the project and the property remains as it did back then.
